Ask Me About My Shirt / Dress for Success

“Ask Me About My Shirt”

The KSHSAA recognizes that current officials are the best recruiters for new officials. Therefore, the KSHSAA is encouraging officials to take part in “wear your shirt to work day”. The KSHSAA and NFHS have recognized “Activities Week” for many years. Each day is designated to recognize a different group that supports high school activities. This year we have designated October 15 as the day to recognize officials. “Wear your shirt to work day” is being held in conjunction with the NFHS Activities week, the KSHSAA asks registered officials to wear their officiating shirt to work on Tuesday, October 15th . Encourage others to ask what your shirt is about and what officiating means to you. Help explain the need of officials in Kansas and throughout the country. Take a picture and share on social media with Twitter or Facebook, mention @KSHSAA.

Enclosed is an officiating pamphlet you can give to someone who may be interested in becoming an official. In addition we have provided some cards you can hand out with a QR code on them which will provide additional information. The KSHSAA has agreements with several companies to provide shirts with the KSHSAA patch already on the shirt. On the back you will find information about the companies and which shirts are available.
